Educators, lawmakers and stakeholders have carved out a strong action plan for our state’s schools that includes high academic and professional standards, enhanced systems of educator effectiveness and a multi-faceted approach to assessment and accountability to measure our progress. New Jersey Leadership for Educational Excellence (NJ LEE), which includes the NJ Association of School Administrators, the NJ Association of School Business Officials, the NJ Education Association, the NJ Parent-Teacher Association, the NJ Principals and Supervisors Association, and the NJ School Boards Association, has endorsed New Jersey’s vision as set forth in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) waiver and our members are working diligently to implement multiple, simultaneous reform plans.
